David Pearse
Franchisor
David Pearse came from a background in the real estate industry holding positions as Branch Manager and Sales Manager. Under his control was a property management department and he established ‘best practice’ principles to improve the level of service to property owners and tenants.
Realising there was a huge need for a quality property management service he joined a specialist property manager franchise, but his experience was that traditional models with high overheads does not result in better service.
In 2010 he started a boutique property management company called Pukeko Rental Managers with the goal of a profitable lifestyle business for himself but has developed into a nationwide franchise which is ‘Proud to be the best, not the biggest’.

Dawn Engelbrecht
Franchise Development Manager
Dawn has been involved in franchising for over 25 years. Including 20 years running her own multi award-winning franchise business - Safe Kids in Daily Supervision (sKids) and the internal brand Sherpa Kids which was established in 5 countries.
Following the sale of her business, Dawn worked as an award-winning business broker for 2 ½ years, specialising in franchise re-sales.
More recently Dawn has been the CEO another highly successful franchise network.
As you can tell, Dawn is passionate about franchising and the opportunities it offers to franchisees.
As CEO, Dawn is excited to be focusing on the growth and development of the Pukeko brand across the country.
