Duncan has a passion for property and an electrical engineering background. He strives to keep the communications lines open with owners and tenants alike. This builds strong relationships to ensure the best outcomes for owners.
Duncan bought his first property when he was 23 years old and has gone on to undertake renovations on several houses. He has experience in both trading and renting properties.
His decision to run his own boutique rental management company under the umbrella of Pukeko Rental Managers was a natural next step.
Before this Duncan was an Electrical Engineer for 11 years in Hawke's Bay, which has given him practical problem solving skills.
Duncan is supported in the business by his wife Jaicee. They have 4 children and are a very sport oriented family.
A practical background and a passion for property gives Duncan a great foundation for rental property management.
We use Fixed Term tenancies and do not charge Letting Fees to tenants to ensure there are no vacancies between tenancies.

We’ve had Duncan from Pukeko as our property manager for a couple of years now. We used to do the management ourselves, but to be fair, we did a poor job, were never on top of things & didn’t really give the property management the time it required. By having Duncan look after the property it has taken all the stress & hassle away from us. Pukeko have managed tenant selection & communication, made sure the rent comes as required & looked after all the general R&M issues. Another added advantage was with the changes to health & safety legislation, Duncan has taken the lead in that area. A recent property fire saw Duncan co-ordinate with the insurer & tenant, again taking the stress away from us. On top of all that, he’s a top bloke with a ‘can-do’ attitude & I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Duncan.
